How is this different from the DEXA we were quoted?

A DEXA uses low-dose X-ray, costs $40,000 to $70,000, needs a dedicated room and, in most states, radiation registration and a licensed operator. The DEXA+ device uses bioimpedance (BIA): no radiation, no registration, an 18" × 24" footprint and $9,995. You can be scanning clients in weeks instead of months.

Is bioimpedance as accurate as DEXA?

DEXA is still the gold standard, especially for bone density and detailed regional measurements. Validated clinical BIA is a strong, repeatable way to track body composition over time, which is what keeps clients coming back. Many of our customers start with BIA and add a DEXA as demand grows.

Do I need radiation registration or a licensed technician?

No. Bioimpedance uses a small, safe electrical signal, not X-ray, so there is no state radiation registration, shielding or licensed technologist. Your front desk can run scans after a short training.

What does the device measure?

48 body composition markers using validated bioimpedance analysis, including lean muscle mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat, hydration status, basal metabolic rate (BMR) and biological age. Each scan takes about 30 seconds.

How much space does it need?

An 18" × 24" footprint and a standard outlet. It stands 7 feet tall, so it fits near the front desk, in a treatment room or on the gym floor.

What's the difference between CORE and PLATINUM?
